First of all I have to say that the (e)2 Photo Gallery is simply great.
Is there a way to enlarge the images (not the thumbs) with Lightbox?
i´d tried it by myself, but I´m a noob in coding.
Thanks for your help.

Regards!

You mainly need to adjust the css file e2photo_gray.css

Change the width and height of this style:

#main_image_wrapper{position:relative;border:1px solid #CCC; width:600px; height:399px;background: #FFF url(../rsrc/loading_image.gif) no-repeat 50% 50%;}

and change the width and min-width of this style:

.e2_photo_gallery {
width:650px;
margin:0px auto;
min-width:650px;
color:#fff;
}

If you are using the uploader you will need to change the size the image are uploaded as in the uploader: See Here

I am trying to resize the gallery to fit into a 530px wide x 600px tall space (which is smaller than the minimum of 600px as reported in this forum) and am going to be using the gray css. Would you be so kind as to tell me which elements need to be changed? I keep breaking the code somehow despite my applications of the tips listed here under various topics.

I would greatly appreciate it!

I'd like to say soon, but not guaranteed because of other projects. But because of the inconvenience of 1.2 making it so you have to rewrite everything because of the class changes it could take more time than I want.

Hi e2

I just came across your photo gallery and I'm quite impressed. Good work.

I would like to know if you have a timeline for the release of the MTv1.2 compatible version. I ask simply because I am in the process of writing a photo gallery for my companies website (which uses 1.2) and honestly, if yours will be done anytime soon I'd rather incorporate it into our site than start a gallery from scratch.

Thanks.

It's alright I got it solved.

$handle->image_resize          = true;
/*$handle->image_ratio           = true;
$handle->image_y               = 600;
$handle->image_x               = 600;
$handle->jpeg_quality		   = 95;*/

You have to add /* and */ as you see in this example and your images won't resize BUT if you have already uploaded images to the e2 gallery and there stretched you have to delete them and re-upload them after making this change.

Because mootools 1.2 is a lot more different than 1.11 it would take some heavy modifying of the javascript to get it to work. I don't plan on updated the current version of (E)2 Photogallery to 1.2 but I do plan on using it on the new version of the (E)2 gallery when I release it.

hi there, i would just like to report that i have successfully ported e2 into wordpress, albeit with less features (i did not include iptc support because only a simple interface is needed by the client). you can view the site here: www.makieduardo.net.

i'd say integrating e2 into wordpress is easy enough. it took awhile for me because i don't really know javascript. also, the resulting code was a bit hackish and messy, i'm sure someone more competent could have done a better job cleaning it.
