Shopping.com has an API you can send queries too, but no easy way to implement them into your site. API Search PHP Script handles that for you. Where can I find the Product ID (PID) Numbers?
There are a couple of places to find the product id numbers.
First, included in the script is a PID finder. Simply search for a product, it will return results for the product search and PID number.
Second, you can find them at shopping.com by searching for product when you find the product you want, right click on the image and the first 8 numbers before the "-100x100-0-0_product_name.jpg".
Third, visit http://developer.shopping.com/ and they have a list of the top 1000 products for past months. They list the Product ID Numbers in that list.
Is this meant to be a stand alone program?
No, this is meant to be implemented into an existing page with related
content, so you can display product pricing from multiple stores.
