Hello.

I have the same problem (old problem) with the first image loading, using IE8. I tried some tips posted here in old topics, but I still can't solve this problem. Can you help me? Thanks!

P.S.: It works fine with Opera, Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome, Konqueror... only the "blessed" IE shows the gallery with this bug... :(

First, I want to say thanks for creating such a simple script. I've had problems with it, but have been able to resolve them to my satisfaction for my site. However, there is one problem I can't seem to get past.

Anytime I resize the browser window the image window moves out of position. on my site, the menus are to the right of the page and they stay in place when i resize the browser, but the image window moves to cover the menus.

I've included two screen shots. the first one is what it looks like with the window at the maximum, which is fine:

http://img357.imageshack.us/img357/5619/maximum.jpg

the second is when i resize it and you can see the image window now covering the menus:

http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/3234/resizedota.jpg

is there anything I can do to get it to stay in place no matter what size the browser? I am using e2.css. I fi can provide any more information, let me know.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello all..

First off just want to say what a excellent application. Ive been looking for a gallery set up for some time and got to say this is by far the best. Very easy to set up and build into a page. A breathe of fresh air compared to some of the others.

Anyway, ive now got the gallery to where i want it to be, all functions and it looks great. So, going on from this i wondered if anyone had any thoughs or ideas on how to make the main images fade in and out of view,
Just wanted to know if this has been tried before and if so the best way to go about it..

Mant Thanks and Great Work
Ian

Hi
First up I just wanted say that Photo Gallery is superb and am very very impressed - on all levels - right up to the styles which are great. Its def what I have been looking for for a long time - a slick, attractive and lightweight gallery that doesnt involve flash. So thank you for all the hard work.
Also have to say that I love your design style across all the sites you have worked on - excellent stuff.

I am totally green when it comes to javascript and php, so apologies if I ask some dumb questions while working on my site.

Here's the first two:

1) Can I set it so that by default on pageload the thumbnail pane is not visible - but the button still toggles it on and off.

2) The imgtitle line that is below the thumbnail panel (it includes both the title and the description) - can I either a) move it so that it sits on the same line as the image counter and the styleswitcher buttons or b) just get rid of this line all together?

I have tried hacking both of these things, but I just seem to break the code!

Many thanks for any help.

Rob
