You know, sometimes I feel really stupid. The last thing you told me to do is one of them. I should have known to do that on my own. Thanks for not making me feel like an idiot. So, do you take donations? If so, send me an address to send you one.

It's part of the image backgrounds, the white line, if you change the background images then you can control how big the white border is in the image.

Yea I created the gallery.

Okay, so I think I'm almost there. I have it around like I want it. But here's the thing that's annoying me. See how the top left corner doesn't fill in like the top right corner? It almost looks like a spacer but I don't see any coding for a spacer in there. Any suggestions?

One other thing - I'm assuming by the username you are using, you're the person who created this fantastic photo gallery.

That is a 4 part image, in the design/e2 folder there are some images named: bl.gif (bottom left), br.gif (bottom right), ml.gif (middle left), mr.gif (middle right), tl.gif(top left), tr.gif (top right). Go download the skin kit and you can modify it yourself using the png template: http://www.e2interactive.com/images/e2_photo_gallery_skin_kit.zip

Okay, so I'm getting there! I tried it my way and then when it was messed up in some way, I stopped and did it your way. Should have done that from the beginning. Anyway, I realized that the only thing I really wanted was a nav bar and a larger format. So I took the nav bar and put it at the top of the page. Ignore the colors because they aren't staying. I am also going to make it smaller and already know how to do that. Here's my question for you now.

http://www.flutterbutterdesigns.com/lisa/index.php

See the white space surrounding the gallery? I believe this may be part of the .hd, .ft, and/or .s div's. How can I get the white to go around all of it, including the nav bar? (but not underneath of the nav bar)

You could do that, it's just a matter of making sure you get the opening and closing div's of the div elements you wan to relocate.

Look at the code and everything outside the <!--Gallery--> <!-- end Gallery--> controls the gallery design. Inside is the actual image holder and thumbnail box.

I figured it was probably easier to incorporate into the gallery. However, wouldn't it make sense (just thinking out loud) to put the main wrapper code into the td line where the large image is located (in the template) and then the thumbnail code into the td area where the thumbs are in the template design? I've tried it but think I might be copying the wrong thing.

Yeah it's possible to skin the e2 gallery with that design, but it will take some tweaking of the CSS mainly. I suggest taking the elements from the design and putting them into the e2 gallery instead of putting the gallery into the design if the tables are making it complicated. A lot of the design could be done with CSS instead of imagery.

I'm a dope when it comes to php and javascript. I know basic HTML but that's about all. I am familiar with CSS but not an expert by any means. I have a template that a friend wants. It's located here:

http://www.flutterbutterdesigns.com/lisa2/index.html

It's nice looking but I want to integrate the gallery into this design. I read that you could just copy all the code between the body tags but that's not quite true. The code between the body tags has a specific layout to it that will interfere with the layout of the page my friend wants. Here's the bad news. The template is pretty much nested tables. I hate tables! She needs this up quick like so that's why she chose this method. Each one of those photos on the site is just a jpg file within a table. So if you look at the coding (which I'd be happy to paste here if it will help) you will see a td for the large photo (hopefully this can be the main_wrap, and the thumbs can be the thumbnails. However, it is important to remove the style buttons on the e2 gallery and replace them with the Navigation bar.

Any suggestions? I have been sitting at my computer ripping my hair out for 3 days.
