When I try to upload image (56K), I receive this error message:
Large Image Not Uploaded
Error: Destination directory can’t be created. Can’t carry on a process
Thumbnail not created and not uploaded
Error: Destination directory can’t be created. Can’t carry on a process

Typically this is cause you’ve don’t have the right path to your images folder try:
../images/
and
../imagethumbs/
if you are using the default setup and images and imagethumbs folders for your gallery.
