Hello All- I apologize if this has been answered before- but I have been trying to get this beautiful album to work for three days or so. it is located at:
http://gone.renew-strategics.com/index.php
I would like to keep the ability to change the features- as it will be a family gallery and may be viewed by several people with different tastes in
environment.
I have all code in the root directory of a subdomain. My other sub-domain is a blog- and PHP, Flash and javaScript work perfectly- however I set that up using a wordpress add-on- through my Cpanel.
In this subdomain- the uploader shows up- accepts my username and password-
everything is in the root folder of the subdomain- i use "images/" and imagethumbs/" with 777 permissions granted to these files. I don't get an error message- and the "image" always referred to as "large" and the thumb get confirmation upload status report.
But there is nothing in the images or imagethumbs folders? and nothing shows up in the album-
I tried adding a background at one point- and that showed up- but that was a href url.
Is there a way to make all images a certain size- configure which ever page is necessary to display them- and upload them OUTSIDE of the uploader- (and also do the same for thimbs?) I see that a lot of confusion seems to arise regarding the destination of the "images and imagethimbs file" so I toyed with "/images/" and images/" and then "gone_forever/images/" then "gone.renew-strategics/images/" but I get error messages with anything but "images/".
Any help at all to get me up and going would be wonderful... this is the nicest gallery I found on the internet... and would BUY E2 Gallery Pro in five seconds if it was for sale... but I am trying to put together a gallery of a dear family member who passed away a few weeks ago- so I wanted to give my family a really nice remembrance. I can't thank you enough E2 for sharing your work with the MooTool, javaScript and PHP loving community. Gallery Pro is in a word breathtaking.... and Photo Gallery is downright exceptional in its own right.
