maingalleries underfined

Hi everyone

I have followed all the instructions and looked through the forum and i cant seem to get my e2 pro working.

im hosting it locally with wamp, and when i open it in internet explorer no images load and i get these errors:

Error: syntax error

Error: ‘maingalleries’ is underfined

my friend was running the gallery up until yesterday then he has the same error.

has anyone else had this problem.

uploaded page seems to work fine.

It’s hard to diagnose issues with a local hosted setup. I’d recommend installing it on a web accessible server and seeing if you have the same issues. Then I can also access it and see if I can help diagnose any issues.

From the small amount info that IE gives you for error messages, it sounds like it’s not reading the XML file. Which could mean that you’re local setup can’t process XML files.
