Hi.
I’ve tried to browse forums and read gallery info but I can’t find anything about resizing. I’m talking about automatic resizing for thumbs when you mouseover small thumb image.
So my question is that is there a feature that resizes images in thumb folder when you upload them. If there is I think I have problem because my mouseover thumbs are bigger than images shown in that default image frame. I have gd-library enabled because needed it for image resizing in one php-course.
Thanks in advance!

The (E)2 Gallery Pro doesn’t resize the images automatically. I use photoshop and i’ve created an action to process the images, then use the e2 upload to upload the images.
As far as the the thumbnails and moueover images, they are actually the same image. I create a thumbnail that wraps around the thumbnail only showing a portion of the image and when you mouse over the image it shows the full thumbnail. You only have to create the thumbnail once, and gallery size image and you have the option to create a large image if you want.

The picture obtained from a camera is much larger than any computer monitor. Therefore, it is beneficial to use a preferred online image resizer. A camera produces pictures of 100kb to 250kb if the camera setting is kept at its lowest level. For sending images through email or displaying images on the web, the preferred image size is between 20kb to 40kb. It is therefore important to resize images online in such a way that the resized online image obtained through the resizer is proportional to the computer screen.
